(Sundaycast ) Imperfect Mothers Fulfill God’s Will (Psalm 66:10; John 21:17)
For you, O God, have tested us; you have tried us as silver is tried.
Psalm 66:10
Jesus said to him the third time, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter felt hurt because he said to him the third time, "Do you love me?" And he said to him, "Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you." Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep."
John 21:17
God, you are the great refiner. Amid my doubts and failures, you know my heart. Instead of tossing me aside, you expertly scrape away my impurities and seek your reflection in my melted metal. Thank you for purifying me through these trials. With your spirit, strengthen my faithfulness and restore me to serve you and your kingdom. Amen.
