If my father and mother forsake me, the LORD will take me up.

Though my condition put you to the test, you did not scorn or despise me but welcomed me as an angel of God, as Christ Jesus.

I praise you, loving Father, for the support that others have given me in my faith journey even when I was mistaken about those I thought I could trust. I regret the times I have strayed from you. I will seek to be a better mentor of the faith to others in reflection of your unswerving love for me. Amen.
