When we call someone a “keeper” it means we love them. We want them around us. The Mount Carmel Staff (pictured above) are KEEPERS. But they also keep the words of Jesus. They want those words of our Lord to create God’s love within us and through us, as you will hear today in the podcast. But they also know they are KEPT. Jesus has called them and keeps them close to Himself because our Lord knows us and He knows we will fall short of His word. So Jesus always gets the last word and you will hear it again today as the podcast ends. Remember, Jesus says this to you, “I created you, I died for you, and you are a KEEPER!”
You shall keep my commandments and observe them: I am the Lord.
Leviticus 22:31
Jesus answered them, "Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them."
John 14:23
Holy God, I am thankful for your presence dwelling within, a sanctuary in the chaos of life's wilderness. Forgive my moments of distance when I stray from your sacred abode. Guide me to abide in your word like a lost traveler gladly finding a well-marked path. Let your love be my compass, leading me home to your embrace. Amen.
