God will never forget the needy; the hope of the afflicted will never perish.

Luke 6:20
God of the poor, you care especially for those suffering poverty and affliction. Forgive me for not doing more to help. In your kingdom, you fill the hungry-even me-with good things, and you offer us the privilege of serving. Lord, help me to share with generous, open hands today. Your love moves through our willing hands. Amen.
