My Lord, I regret that I spend more time thinking about you than I do in prayer. My thoughts often lead to tangled knots and despair, but in prayer you meet me and share in my suffering. Teach me to rely on your presence instead of my own understanding as I grow in faith and love, in Jesus' name. Amen.
