(Irishcast) Praise The Lord One And All (Ps 111v1 Rev 19 V5

Singing together is a great privilege for Christians. We are created for praise. Our body is designed for this. When we are singing, we lose our awareness of ourselves. We are surrounded by the communion of Saints. This experience of singing together with our friends in Northern Ireland is represented by the photos here. The hymn, “All things bright and beautiful,” was written by Cecil Alexander, who lived in Londonderry in Northern Ireland when she wrote it. As you will hear at the end of the podcast, we were taught the proper way to sing this hymn. It’s nice to know how to get something right on earth before we get to heaven and have to learn the proper way to sing it there.

Christ Jesus, you have redeemed me. You have freed me, saved me, and forgiven me. You help. You heal. You transform. Praise to you! With my whole heart, I give you thanks. I want all of you and none of me. Do whatever you need to do to keep me in your will. Amen.
