Sabbath Resting (Exodus 20: 9-10, Mark 2: 27)
Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any work.
Exodus 20:9-10
Jesus said to them, "The sabbath was made for humankind."
Mark 2:27
Gracious God, I thank you for caring for me so much that you share both your promises and commands. Grant me wisdom to know that your word brings freedom and blessing rather than burdens. Strengthen my determination to do what is good and right, trusting in your will and way, through Christ Jesus my Lord. Amen.
