God is with you in good and in bad (Jeremiah 31_20; Eph 2_4-5)
Is Ephraim my dear son? Is he the child I delight in? As often as I speak against him, I still remember him. Therefore I am deeply moved for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says the LORD.
Jeremiah 31:20
God, who is rich in mercy, out of the great love with which he loved us even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ.
Ephesians 2:4-5
Warmhearted God, it fills me with gratitude knowing that you welcome me into aliveness with Christ. This assures me that I am your child. I am especially grateful that you love me when I am least lovable and even when I don't love myself. Continually teach me with your warmhearted love the way to love you, others, and myself. Amen.
