Beloved Savior, I am heartsick that you are wounded for my transgressions. I am humbled that you take crushing blows for me. My instinct when hurt is to hurt back. Beloved, you taught the way of forgiveness with your life and death on the cross. Help me become more forgiving to better give you glory. Amen.
