Wanting what you have (Proverbs 30:8; 1 Tim 6:7-8)
Give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with the food that I need.
Proverbs 30:8
We brought nothing into the world, so that we can take nothing out of it; but if we have food and clothing, we will be content with these.
1 Timothy 6:7-8
Holy Provider, you bless me with more than enough for a good life, yet I often want more. Sometimes I feel as if I am not enough. I then project that onto others. Help me be satisfied with what others have to offer. Reassure me that what I do and say is enough. I gladly thank you for this abundant life. Amen.
