Christ frees from shame(Psalm 25:20; Matthew 7:25)
Do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
Psalm 25:20
The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on rock.
Matthew 7:25
Holy One, I come to you in this time of trouble. I can easily feel myself adrift in desolations. In this prayer time, you are my shelter. Here I feel safe from the world's floods and winds. Strengthen me for the needs of the day. Thank you for your protective, comforting love. Amen.
