Bearing fruit for God hundredfold, sixtyfold and thirtyfold begins with forgiving the people whose sins crush you. Like the violet, you will be stepped on in life. People will trespass on you as Jesus says in our Lord’s Prayer. What fragrance you exude depends on what your life is being lived for. Living for Jesus creates the fragrance Jesus gave when He was crushed.
God said to Ezekiel, "Mortal, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart and hear with your ears."
Ezekiel 3:10
But as for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and yields, in one case a hundredfold, in another sixty, and in another thirty.
Matthew 13:23
Word of life, worthy of praise, thank you for the words you speak to me. When I listen to the noise of the world, I cannot hear you and my heart hardens against your love and direction. Soften the soil in my heart and help me to hear and teach others to hear your voice and know your love. Amen.
