SUNDAYCAST Our God is our steadfast lover (Psalm 42:8; Matthew 14:23)
By day the LORD commands his steadfast love, and at night his song is with me, a prayer to the God of my life.
Psalm 42:8
And after Jesus had dismissed the crowds, he went up the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone.
Matthew 14:23
Lord, with each new day I see you pouring your wondrous light on me. When darkness comes, keep the peace you have given to me deep within my memory. You are my guiding light, my fortress in the frightening night. Invite me to the mountain with you, then send me to share your light, in Jesus' name. Amen.
