This story touched my heart because when my parents were trying to teach us children about praying to our Heavenly Father, they included the names of several missionaries. One of these was John Carlsen. Every night as a child, we would be praying for John and his mission outreach. Today as our Discipleship friends teach us about praying to our Father in Heaven, I remember how my father and my mother on earth taught me to pray for this beloved man, John.
