Doing good against evil (Proverbs 8:13; Ephesians 2:10)
The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil.
Proverbs 8:13
We are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works.
Ephesians 2:10
Christ Jesus my Lord, you created me to do good work. Sadly, so often I don't. Only you are worthy of my fear, love, and trust. Strengthen me to hate evil and inspire me to love good, instead. Empower and show me where and how to do your good work today. Amen.
