Following Jesus is light (Isaiah 2:5; John 8:12)
Come, let us walk in the light of the LORD!

Jesus said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life."
John 8:12
Lord of all hopefulness, thank you for the invitation to walk with you in your light. Forgive my resentful spirit when I choose the darkness of my anger. I forget your promise to free me from this pain. Let your light of hope flow through me today. May I help others discover the freedom from darkness. Amen.
