9 are dancing while 1 returns to give thanks and praise. This sculpture by Arnold Flaten shows that one person’s response of praise to our Lord supports the many who never return to give thanks. So never stop returning to give thanks to Jesus. Our praise supports hundreds of others.
What shall I return to the LORD for all his bounty to me?
Psalm 116:12
And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.
Luke 17:15-16 NKJV
God of abundance, what can I return to you for all the blessings you have poured over me? I want to shout out praises for your healing of my body, for cleansing my heart, for renewing my spirit. Keep this flame of gratitude alive within me. Today I will glorify you by proclaiming this gift of grace to others. Amen.
