Table for 28! When you dine with Jesus expect company and companions. The good news is that we may carry a nickname from our past as did Simon the leper and others at this dinner did, but it no longer condemned him or any others. In Jesus our past can be a joke. It no longer controls. Jesus comes to take our condemnation into himself. We get to enjoy meal time moments with the many others He has invited to His banquet.
The LORD stands at the right hand of the needy, to save them from those who would condemn them.
Psalm 109:31
Listen, my beloved brothers and sisters. Has not God chosen the poor in the world to be rich in faith and to be heirs of the kingdom that he has promised to those who love him?
James 2:5
Father God, your love is unconditional and never ending. I am soothed in the warm promise that I am yours. You stand up for me and save me from condemnation. On my own I am poor. You fill me with all I need. I am rich in your blessings. Thank you for withholding nothing. I love you, Lord! Amen.

I am very happy to see comments!!!!! The Watchword for the week teaches that Jesus is seated at the right hand of Power and the Old Testament tells us that the Lord is at our right hand, where His shield protects us.
