The Cycle of Redemption (Judges 3:9; Luke 1:68)
When the Israelites cried out to the LORD, the LORD raised up a deliverer, who delivered them.
Judges 3:9
Zechariah said, "Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, for he has looked favorably on his people and redeemed them."
Luke 1:68
Lord, in ages past you listened to the cries of your people and sent them a rescuer. Because of your great love you also sent your Son to redeem your children. I am thankful, Lord, that you give life and salvation through the power of the cross. Praise be to you, O God, for your gift of grace. Alleluia! Amen.
