Christ’s light creates fruit (Amos 5:15; Eph 5:8-9)
Hate evil and love good, and establish justice in the gate; it may be that the Lord, the God of hosts, will be gracious.

Live as children of light—for the fruit of the light is found in all that is good and right and true.
Ephesians 5:8-9
Generous God, thank you for making me a child of light. I regret that I often prefer darkness, siding with those who oppress rather than the oppressed. But you, Lord, shine light on your children's needs and inspire me to respond. Please shine today on all who need food, safety, or advocates. Help me respond with justice and joy. Amen.
