Lord of my life, when I rejoice in you my soul is set free. You provide so many reasons for praise—creation's beauty, my dear ones, life itself. Sometimes I'm caught in self-pity or wanting more. Thank you for rescuing and claiming me even then. Refresh your gift of thankful praise in me today. Amen.
