Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he in anger shut up his compassion?
Psalm 77:9
Where sin increased, grace abounded all the more.
Romans 5:20
O Holy One, your grace is abounding. Yet there are times when my memory fails me and I become overwhelmed by my own troubles. As a result, I lose sight of your unfailing steadfast love for me and for your world. Today may I turn my heart in repentance toward your unfailing light. Amen.
