Curses into blessings (Deut 23:5; 2 Peter 3:15)
The LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the LORD your God loved you.
Deuteronomy 23:5
Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation.
2 Peter 3:15
You are a loving parent, Lord. You have infinite patience. Time and again I have confessed the same things. I have recycled my sins and clung to them stubbornly. Yet just when I think you must have had your fill of me, the cross reminds me I am yours and my life is best when surrendered to you. Amen.
