(Prayer League) Life In Missions (Isaiah 60:16; 1 Tim 4:10) (Salvation)
106 members and friends of the Prayer League (WMPL) are meeting at Mount Carmel this week for renewal and encouragement in their calling to fulfill Christ’s command to pray and to be willing to be sent out. “And he said to them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few.’ Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” Luke 10:2 Each Wednesday this summer Sam Hoff will be sharing the faith stories of one of the Prayer League members who are serving at Mount Carmel for that week. Today we are introduced to the Scotts. They reflect on the propose of the Prayer League to serve because of the love of God enables which their service. Simply, they serve because of Jesus! The world is badly in need. So, just as Jesus came to set this world right, the Prayer League responds to the commands of the Word of God and go to do likewise. Compassion demands radical action.
