Discipline of Following Jesus (Deut. 8:5; John 13:15)
Know then in your heart that as a parent disciplines a child so the Lord your God disciplines you.
Deuteronomy 8:5
I have set you an example, that you also should do as I have done to you.
John 13:15
Lord God, you know how rebellious I can be. Forgive my tantrums and hideaway habits. Call me again to sit on the lap of the Good Shepherd so I can repent. And then let me consider others, for I long to share the gifts of life you have so freely given to all. Amen.
