The Lord is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.

He makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the righteous and on the unrighteous.

Merciful Lord, I thank you for showing compassion and love for all. I know how hard it is to love those who have hurt me. Teach me to forgive just as you forgive. I pray for them that you will do good things for them. Rain down your grace uniting us together to serve you. Amen.
