Jesus our Temple (2 Chron 5:13-14; Rev 21:2, 23)
When the song was raised, with trumpets and cymbals and other musical instruments, in praise to the Lord, "For he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever," the glory of the LORD filled the house of God.
2 Chronicles 5:13-14
The holy city, the new Jerusalem, has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God is its light, and its lamp is the Lamb.
Revelation 21:2, 23
Light of the world, you shine brightly among your people. The darkness of our flaws and failings may seem to dim your light, but your forgiveness allows us to shine as a reflection of your glory. Never let us hide your light from others. Make us shine with your love light. Amen.
