Loving God, you fill me with your love from above. Forgive me for staying centered on my desires for revenge. When I recall Jesus' love for his persecutors and his prayer to forgive his killers, I realize how far short I fall. Change me, God, to speak the words of love that Jesus spoke. Amen.
