The Lord is compassionate and merciful.
James 5:11
Merciful God, when faithless fears overwhelm me, help me to remember my Lord who trusted in you when utterly destroyed by his enemies. You were his faithful and powerful defender even in death. In him you also promise to defend me. May I walk in the strength of his faith to sow seeds of hope and love today. Amen.
