Giving Jesus our offering of “not enough” (Ps 146:7; Mark 8:6)
The Lord executes justice for the oppressed; he gives food to the hungry.
Psalm 146:7
Jesus took the seven loaves, and after giving thanks he broke them and gave them to his disciples to distribute; and they distributed them to the crowd.
Mark 8:6
God of abundance, you have blessed me so generously. Thank you for using and multiplying gifts of time, talent, and treasure. Open my eyes for opportunities to be your instrument in meeting the needs of those who are oppressed, hungry, needy, lonely, or hurting. Let my contributions bring hope and encouragement to others and glory to you. Amen.
