When we are living in Jesus and through Jesus, our life changes. We are people shaped by God’s promises. We are members of God’s family. Brothers and sisters one hundredfold. Living for His will to be done in us and through us. Life is no longer about us. We are living for the glory of the Kingdom of God. The result is we bring God’s Joy to the World!
He is mindful of his covenant forever, of the word that he commanded for a thousand generations.
Psalm 105:8
For in him every one of God's promises is a "Yes." For this reason it is through him that we say the "Amen," to the glory of God.
2 Corinthians 1:20
O God, in the face of a world of constant no, it is a relief to hear your yes. So much of my life is negotiated around the negative: not good enough, not smart enough, not strong enough. Your word reminds me that my worth is found in your yes alone. Thank you that your promise is for me. Amen.
