(Carmelcast) Knives Are For Cutting

Mount Carmel staff served faithfully through August 6. This photo shows you all of them who were called to help this summer. Our older adult week is called an “elderversity.” There are 8 more learning weeks coming up this fall for the Awaken project. There are six students enrolled. In addition there are five students who will be part of this community who will live here while attending Alexandria Community College. Thanks be to God for all the ways He is working things for good here.

Prayer

Befriending God, how did you ever find me, lost as I was in the depths of my self-concern? Truly, you are gracious and merciful! You have set me free and called me to serve you in love and pleasure. Now lead me to bear witness to your grace, that others, too, may rejoice in your salvation. Amen.
