Since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight and the sin that clings so closely.
Hebrews 12:1
O God, today you speak clearly of the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Throughout time you have blessed us with that great cloud of witnesses. Laying aside our sin today, let us draw strength from them so that we might witness to others. Amen.
