Prayer

Thank you, God, for ruling this world with mercy and grace. Your kingship is like no other! I am sorry when I try to lord over others. Forgive me for exerting power when I should be exercising compassion. Help me to take up the cross again today, seeking to be great only in service to my neighbors. Amen.
