(Irishcast) Freely Given (1 Chron 29v9 Acts 4v37) (Grace)

Psalm 23:5 declares “my cup runs over.” I have freely received and I freely give. All of God’s work on earth is powered by the Holy Spirit. Romans 5:5 declares the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. God’s love overflows through us into the world. Consider the Moravian revival that began in 1527. That’s the love of our Father working through us. Why not ask your Father what He has planned for you? Pray. Keep praying. Freely you have received. You get to freely give.

Prayer

Abundant God, you have filled creation with all that is needed for a flourishing life, yet I try to hang on to as much as I can for myself. Forgive me, Lord, and loosen my grasp upon my possessions. Teach me to live for the sake of those around me and to seek the good of my neighbors. Amen.
