On the inside back cover of your book you can read our Lord’s voice speaking to in Ezekiel 36:24-28. I thought it was great to find the voice of the Good Shepherd in this passage in Ezekiel. Then in today’s Ezekiel text it is verse 29. And God’s still promising to do something for us that we need. God will clean up all our messes and our impure life. We missed verse 29 when we created this passage in the back of your book. One of our uncleannesses that God is now cleaning up. Thanks be to God.
I will save you from all your uncleannesses.
Ezekiel 36:29
God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life.
1 Thessalonians 4:7 NIV
You call, Lord God, but I do not always answer. In my sin, I am disconnected from you. Yet, Lord, you insist upon speaking your word to me. Help me to hear the graceful clarity of your voice. Wash from me all that obscures your image on my heart. Raise me up to live a holy life for you. Amen.
