SUNDAYCAST Loving neighbors (Lev 19:18; Luke 10:33-34)
You shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the LORD.
Leviticus 19:18
A Samaritan while traveling came near him; and when he saw him, he was moved with pity. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, having poured oil and wine on them. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
Luke 10:33-34
Lord, I praise you for your love. You could have walked right on past, but in Christ you have bandaged my wounds and restored me to life. Too often I am too focused on myself to love others as you love me. Forgive me. Open my eyes to the needs of those around me. Give me a heart for helping. Amen.
