IRISHCAST Love the stranger (Deut 10v18,19; Matt 25 v35)
The Lord executes justice for the orphan and the widow, and loves the strangers, providing them food and clothing. You shall also love the stranger.
Deuteronomy 10:18-19
I was a stranger and you welcomed me.
Matthew 25:35
Thank you, Lord, for the welcome mat you have placed at the door of my life! This is your heart for me and others. Help me to remember what it is like to be a stranger to your love and promises, that I might be your hands and heart to those who feel unloved by you today. Amen.
