His anger is but for a moment; his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

We even boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.

Savior Jesus, thank you for the gift of reconciliation with my Father God. Disease and suffering still stop me in my tracks. Forgive me for questioning your love and care in the midst of pain. Instead, raise my eyes to look into your faith-filled eyes. I want to know your everlasting joy to share with those I meet. Amen.
