Prayer

Precious Lord, my heart is grateful and warmed by your love for those living outside the margins of privilege and access to life's basic needs. In one stroke, without warning, I could easily join them. Turn my selfishness into active compassion toward those less fortunate than me. Open my eyes to notice and be generous always. Amen.
