(Sundaycast) Trip Jesus Empowers Weak People (Jer 1:9; 1 Cor 2:3 5)

The Daily Texts give us the chance to write out our prayers to our Lord using the following TRIP prayer questions. Then we share them and pray them with another member of God’s family. TRIP T-THANKFUL. In today’s texts, what connects you to Jesus with thanksgiving? R-REGRET. What is one regret (correction) that your “thanks” prayer reveals which leads you to make a confession to God? I-INTERCESSION. As a result, what help (direction) do you need to ask the Spirit to give you? P-PLAN or PURPOSE. Is there some specific purpose today that the texts are directing you to do?

Old Testament Verse

I came to you in weakness and in fear and in much trembling. My speech and my proclamation were made not with persuasive words of wisdom but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom but on the power of God.

Prayer

Lord God, we live in a time where talk is cheap, public speech is pompous, and words about others are more destructive than life-giving. Forgive me for using words that tear down instead of build up. Plant within me your words and your truth, that I may speak blessing, comfort, and wisdom into someone's life today. Amen.
