THETA Active versus Passive Listening (Isaiah 50:4; Acts 16:14)
He awakens me morning by morning, he awakens my ear to listen as a disciple.

Lydia, a worshiper of God, was listening to us; she was from the city of Thyatira and a dealer in purple cloth. The Lord opened her heart to listen eagerly to what was said by Paul.

Sovereign Lord, your Holy Spirit awakens and calls me into your service. You are all I desire. Sometimes, my heart wanders and loses focus. I can't believe you want to be with me and change my heart. Thank you. Open the eyes and ears of those I meet. Awaken them into a love journey with you. Amen.
