IRISHCAST Cleansing (Is 64v6_ Luke 15v21-22)
We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a filthy cloth.
Isaiah 64:6
The son said to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you; I am no longer worthy to be called your son." But the father said to his slaves, "Quickly, bring out a robe-the best one -and put it on him."
Luke 15:21-22
Welcoming Father, sometimes my life resembles a dirty washcloth. I choose the ways of this present world, indulging them, much to my regret and disappointment. Thank you for being the father who runs to me with a new robe. I love life in your household! Show me where and with whom I can share that life. Amen.
