IRISHCAST Reconciliation (Isa 57v16; 2 Cor 5v19)
The LORD said: I will not continually accuse, nor will I always be angry.
Isaiah 57:16
In Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.
2 Corinthians 5:19
God, thank you for your message of reconciliation that can restore relationships. I confess my tendency to avoid conflict and choose the path of least resistance, rather than focusing on repairing relationships. Forgive me for taking that too easy way. Show me opportunities to speak the truth in love and bring others together. Amen.
