THETA Back to Bethel (Genesis 35.3 & Ephesians 5.20)
Jacob said, "Come, let us go up to Bethel, that I may make an altar there to the God who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me wherever I have gone."
Genesis 35:3
Give thanks to God the Father at all times and for everything.
Ephesians 5:20
God of all, thank you for bringing me safely to this moment. You do this in spite of everything around and within me that resists you—danger, conflicts, ignorance, and self-centered plans. I give you thanks and ask only that you guide my journey into greater faithfulness and love, through Christ our Lord. Amen.
