Simeon announces hope for us Gentiles who need the light of God’s grace to free us from the control of sin. In todays’s podcast, one of those Gentiles who received this freedom shares her testimony. The picture of her hands may give you a clue of the physical way that forgiveness happens for her. Enjoy and know there’s hope for you as well.
O send out your light and your truth; let them lead me to your dwelling.
Psalm 43:3
Simeon said, "Master, now you are dismissing your servant in peace, according to your word; for my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel."
Luke 2:29-32
Thank you, God, for sending Jesus, the light and truth for all people. I confess that I sometimes fail to see your light. Open my blind eyes to the fullness of life and salvation in Jesus. Grant me clear vision to follow his leading. I anticipate my eternal dwelling in heaven with you. Amen.
