(Mission Cast) Would You Go ( Psalm 118:25; Acts 13:2 3) (Guidance)

Jeff and Mim welcome Cheung Wing “Hosanna” to the mission cast as they discuss Psalm 118:25 and Acts 13:2-3. Much of the mission cast features her story as a child on the mission field in Germany, United States, Hong Kong, China and now the United Kingdom. We discuss how one is called and sent. Would you be willing to be “set apart and sent” like Barnabas and Paul? Just imagine at the next worship service you attend, if the Holy Spirit spoke to all the people that you were supposed to go as Christ’s ambassador to the world? Or, if the Lord spoke to you about someone to set apart and send. Would you go? Would you send and support? The world lives under the heavy veil of sin and needs Christ’s gospel to rescue us from darkness and place us into this glorious kingdom of light. The world cries out. God is listening. You are his answer.

Prayer

What an awesome Savior you are! You save me from striving for wealth, power, status, or popularity. You show me my need to be transformed by your Spirit. Produce the fruit of your Spirit in me. Equip me for the work you have called me to do. Grant me success in loving and serving others in your name, Jesus. Amen.
