Prayer

Lord, free me from my death grip to control every second of my life. Lift me out of the pit that holds me hostage. Shake the shackles of selfishness from my arms and legs. I want to dance to the rhythm of your voice, wrapped in your timeless promises. Enliven my dead dreams with the melody of your Advent songs. Amen.
