( Theta) Forever Family (Ezekiel 34:30 & Luke 2:11)

Nathan and Joy Hoff share reflections with their birth family that recall 20 years of midnight Christmas worship at Trinity. Each of their kids and one kid-in-law then add one response to one of their Christmas services. Nathan gets an extra because he comments on the children gathering around the lighting of the Advent Candles. Here he captures the essence of the “forever family” that the Holy Spirit creates as we are born into a new relationship with Him as our brother and God as our Father. One member of that forever family once had a midnight encounter with Jesus. His name is Nicodemus. One day we will get to hear his story. Prayer

Jesus, you revealed yourself as Savior and Messiah, fulfilling the prophecies. Thank you for drawing me to yourself and inviting me into the family of God. May we, your people, be faithful witnesses of your love and forgiveness to all the world. Unite us in celebrating your presence with us and in sharing your blessings and peace.
