I am the first and I am the last; besides me there is no god.
Isaiah 44:6
Pray then in this way: Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.
Matthew 6:9
Everlasting Father, I am grateful for your eternal presence and your holy invitation to come to you as your beloved child. You knew me before I existed. You continue to be with me in all my tomorrows. Help me to trust in you alone as my God and Father. May I hallow your name this day. Amen.
